The largest elephant in the world accidentally got on the camera of tourists in the reserve. People did not even immediately understand what was coming to them from behind the trees: the animal turned out to be as tall as a three-story house and weighs at least 2 ordinary elephants. A huge elephant came out to tourists in the Amboseli National Park, located on the very border of Kenya and Tanzania.
The size of the animal was clearly out of the standard framework: savannah elephants usually grow up to 4 tons in weight and 3.5 meters in height. The same elephant was taller than trees and, judging by its size, weighed at least 8 tons, that is, like two ordinary elephants. Tourists also noticed its unusually long tusks.
Such huge tusks for elephants are very rare, such creatures are called “taskers”. We think that the elephant managed to become so big thanks to raids on nearby farms. Apparently, he had enough food since childhood, – one of the employees of the national park explained to reporters. In the video, the dimensions of the elephant are even more striking: There are almost no tasker elephants left in the world. Tourists were lucky to meet a rare representative of the species.
