18-year-old Andrei worked as a waiter in a very expensive restaurant. One day, an elderly woman came into this institution – her gray hair was covered with a scarf, her clothes were torn in several places. The restaurant manager ordered the “beggar woman” to be driven out the door, and only Andrei undertook to serve her: he did not yet know that the woman would return in two weeks .
The “beggar woman” who appeared on the threshold of the restaurant immediately caused a negative reaction from the visitors. The woman tried to walk to the far table without attracting attention, but after a minute the manager approached her and rather rudely pointed to the door. Andrei stood nearby and heard everything.
The young waiter decided to help and nevertheless offered to serve the “beggar woman” – the manager agreed to take her to the farthest table near the kitchen, where the employees of the institution usually ate. The poor woman had a quick bite to eat and left, not forgetting to thank Andrey. This case was remembered by the waiter and therefore he was amazed when, two weeks later, the same pensioner entered the restaurant, but already in a very stylish and obviously expensive outfit.
She chose the best table, asked the manager to come up and immediately calculated him – in fact, the woman was the owner of the entire restaurant chain and, dressing as a beggar, checked how her directors work with people in the field. Andrey was promoted by the hostess on the same day, he got the position of manager: The restaurant chain of this woman still operates today. After learning this story, most of its employees began to behave with visitors more.
