Judge Simon Cowell isn’t known for being soft and pleasant on any panel of any show, in fact he’s known for quite the opposite. And yet, there are times when even Cowell’s icy heart melts. Such was the case with father-of-six Michael Caterer, who took to the stage on the current season of America’s Got Talent. At first, Michael seemed shy. He explained to the judges that he has six children, all of whom are foster children. Michael also works as a nurse in the child health department.
The reason she is on the show in the first place is to be an inspiration to her family, especially her children. Trying to achieve his dream, Michael wanted to prove to his children that they could achieve their greatest goals. He wanted to show them that nothing is impossible and that his children can follow their dreams to the end. What an inspiration. Especially for those children who came from difficult families and didn’t have an ideal start in life. Michael chose to sing “To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees.
