Britain’s Got Talent returned for another installment on Saturday, with a new batch of contestants hoping to win over the judges.
And one act who certainly did just that was 14-year-old singer Sirine Jahangir, who left Amanda Holden, 49, close to tears with her emotional performance.
There wasn’t a sound to be heard as the the blind teenager wowed the audience with a moving version of Salvation by Gabrielle Aplin.
After being accompanied onto the stage by host Ant McPartlin, Sirine had a chat with judge David Walliams who asked if there was anything she wanted to say about herself.
She then replied: ‘So I guess it’s pretty obvious that I can’t see, there was a time when I could and now I can’t.
