A parrot sings a song when a guitar is played. The parrot really sings well.

Frank Malier is a talented self-taught musician. He is a fan of the rock bands of the 70s of the last century. Mallier often listened to Led Zepplin’s band and accompanied them on guitar. Once a man noticed that his parrot Tico was singing along to the song Stairway to Heaven.

He was very surprised, because before that the bird had not been talkative and in very rare boredom repeated single words. And suddenly he notices that every time this song is played, the parrot sings along. Then Frank came up with the idea to create a duet with a parrot and play along with him on the guitar. From the very first chords, Tiko recognized his favorite song and began to sing along. The parrot sang with such enthusiasm and emotion that it would seem that the bird understands the meaning of the song.

Talented parrot singing

The ability to copy melodies and onomatopoeia is an innate quality of parrot representatives. They are capable of endlessly repeating the same thing. We have all seen more than once how birds imitate a person, laugh out loud or cry. Some even manage to teach the parrot to speak poetry. But for a parrot to sing a rock ballad with a guitar, no one has ever seen such a thing. The video of the duet guitarist and parrot scored millions of views. People couldn’t believe that a parrot could hit the notes so accurately.

Talented parrot singing

Few people know that parrots also sing in the wild. It is believed that Parrots, regardless of where they live, sing only in a good mood. This phenomenon often occurs at sunset or in the early morning after a night’s rest. In order to hear the voice of a pet from the cage, the owner should work hard and create suitable conditions for the parrot. In response, the bird, thanks to its innate ability to imitate sounds, will reward you with a melody heard from your phone or TV. In parrots, males sing more often. Females are more silent and reserved. But  males make sounds when they want to greet the owner, express joy from the meeting, show interest in something new or are surprised, try to attract attention or feel pain, and also while flirting with a partner. Most likely, the parrot is very connected with Frank, and Frank takes good care of him, since the bird sings with him. Or maybe Tikko is just a Led Zeppelin fan.շ
