Cute kittens of a rare breed resemble real sheep. Hands are reaching out to stroke them

The kittens belong to the Selkirk Rex breed. The breed is considered relatively young, the history began in the late eighties. Kittens get the curly hair gene from both parents.



The man bred Persian cats of different colors. The new cat was named Miss de Pesto. Eleonora Muccio from Switzerland saw the Selkirk Rex for the first time at a cat show in Geneva. She was familiar with the new breed, at the exhibition the woman saw these cats with her own eyes. Adorable mother cat and kittens won Eleanor’s heart at first sight.



A woman publishes observations about the nature of the breed, the rules for caring for amazing animals in her cat profile. Eleanor recommends regularly cleaning the ears and eyes of the Selkircrex.
