Many of us, when we sing, imagine that we are good at it and that one day we could become singers. We sing in the shower or in the car. Other people sing in the gym while working out (which is kind of weird, in my opinion). But the reality is that most of us aren’t as good at singing a song as we think we are. To kick off the new year, YouTuber Daylafulla decided to reveal to the world what a talent her father has, and what she was keeping hidden.
Kris Jones was sitting in the car with her daughter in Fort Worth, Texas, when she turned on her camera. her phone and asked her father to sing her version of “Tennessee Whiskey.” The George Jones song has recently been popularized by country singer Chris Stapleton. The song itself is beautiful and has great lyrics, but I certainly wouldn’t have expected Kris to sing it this well! She has an amazing voice, and it seems like everyone agrees too. After her daughter posted the video on YouTube, it quickly went famous. It now has over 6 million views!
This dad’s incredible voice hasn’t gone unnoticed on social media and people are already saying they can’t wait to see him on popular TV shows like Ellen. Well, the truth is that it would be amazing to see more of his performances, and to hear that beautiful voice once again. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of him in the very near future.
