Christmas is a wonderful time for family gatherings and cozy evenings. These days everyone is busy cooking delicious meals and decorating houses. There is something magical in the air. Everywhere smells of buns and hot chocolate. This is the time of gifts, fun and of course holidays. Children are looking forward to the winter fairy tale called New Year, not only because of holidays and gifts, but also because on this day the whole family gathers together. Ekaterina’s mother always arrived for the Christmas holidays later than the other children’s parents because of the nature of her work. The girl was already used to it, but still she was sad to see that all the mothers came to listen to their Christmas concert, but no one came to her. The girl was a very diligent student and had good vocal abilities. Every Christmas night, the girl made the same wish for her mother to come as soon as possible.
At the Christmas concert, Katrin was supposed to perform the solo part. It was a very festive, clear day. In the morning, she and her friends dressed up the Christmas tree and decorated the stage. Soon relatives began to gather to listen to the singing of the children. Ekaterina stood in the middle and sang her part beautifully. The concert went well, at the end all the children were presented with gifts. However, the most important gift Katherine was waiting for was at the end, when the head of the college announced that another spectator was listening to the concert backstage and invited her to come on stage. What was the surprise and joy of the girl when her mother appeared on the stage. She was delighted and ran to hug her mother, who still managed to come early and listen to her daughter’s performance. It was the happiest Christmas in Catherine’s life. After all, there is nothing better and more expensive than time spent with family. This Christmas the girl spent with her parents, with her beloved mother, whom she had not seen for many months. It turns out that New Year’s wishes come true, you just need to really want to and at least a little believe in a fairy tale.
