Humans can hug each other, but elephants hugging is a unique phenomenon

This is the story of an elephant who loves to cuddle. It turns out that not only people love hugs and attention, but also animals. A cute baby elephant lives in the reserve and simply loves to cuddle with workers and tourists. Elephant managed to become famous on the Internet and not only. Everyone knows it and loves it very much. Many tourists come to the reserve to get acquainted with the sociable baby elephant.
An elephant is an animal that evokes only positive emotions, sympathy and respect in us from a very early age. Despite their huge size, elephants seem smart, calm and noble․ And those who worked with elephants, in addition to the listed qualities, consider them the most emotional animals. In many cultures, elephants are symbols of happiness, homeliness and peace. Elephants in the live in herds and constantly need the support of loved ones. They do not tolerate loneliness. Maybe that’s why the little elephant is looking for hugs so much.

Baby Elephant
When one of the tourists approached it to feed some sweets, the baby elephant immediately came closer to him and tried to hug him. It stood up on its hind legs, put front legs on the man’s shoulders and hugged the trunk. It looked very sweet and touching. Reserve workers note that the baby elephant is not friendly to everyone. Sometimes it doesn’t even get close to people. Apparently this tourist was lucky and the baby elephant rushed to him with special sympathy. Hugging the baby elephant, the man fed from a spoon and watered him from a bottle.

For elephants, social relations and maintaining contact with members of the herd are extremely important, so they greet each other by wrapping their trunks around each other. The trunk replaces the hands of the elephants and they always greet each other by holding out the trunk. They can also take something with their trunk and move it to another place. An adult elephant will always help the baby if he falls. Many elephants in the reserve are saved thanks to people, which is why the elephants are so attached to their rescuers.
