The presenters met puma cubs in the forest and decided to take care of them

We all love to spend our evenings in front of the TV watching our favorite programs. However, if today we can watch our favorite films and programs at any day and time, then 50 years ago this was not possible. In the distant 1960s, television was just beginning to develop and people were in a hurry to take a comfortable place in front of the screen, since there was no replay or opportunity to revise the program. One of the legendary TV shows that aired on American television was the” Wild Kingdom” program. It was hosted by Perkins and Flowers who talked about their many travels in the wild and about the life of wild animals. The program went on the air until 1980, then closed.

Today, this transmission has turned into nostalgia and memories of past times. Its presenters often participate in various interviews and talk about how different episodes of the program were filmed and what interesting moments remained behind the scenes. Once they met a motionless cougar in the jungle, next to which there were small cubs. They all tried to keep warm next to their mother. Perkins decided to take the babies and feed them. The little cougars looked at him at the same time scared and bold. The whole film crew was worried about the kids. The puma cubs lived with them for a couple of months, during which time they got stronger and grew noticeably. When Perkins realized that the cougars could survive alone in the jungle, they set them free. Then Perkins tells another interesting episode that happened in the winter, when they were studying the behavior of bears and the hibernation of animals. Then Perkins found two black bear cubs in the snow, which were completely frozen. Apparently the kids moved away from the den and got lost. The man warmed them with a warm blanket and returned them to the bear’s den. Fowler also shared a funny story about how he jumped on a moose from a helicopter to tag him. And when they filmed the episodes in the desert, they met a herd of elephants who were very friendly. They were not at all afraid of people and even greeted them with their trunks. Perkins and Fowler have put half their lives into the show and they have a lot to remember.
