More than 20,000 euros, such a huge amount was found by elderly spouses in Switzerland, they found the owner and gave everything to the penny. In the city of Martigny, on one of the central streets there was an ATM, near which a round sum was found in an envelope.
A man who drove up to an ATM to withdraw money upon returning home realized that there was no money on hand or on the card. The owner was found on the basis of personal data, which were written in the receipt from the ATM, left in the envelope.
The couple got together and came to the owner of the envelope home to return all the lost money. The man did not leave the couple without gratitude and gave the couple €500 as a reward for honesty.
